Kick off the season at The Avenue Viera’s “Merry & Bright” tree lighting celebration, held on Friday, November 21, 2025 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, with the official lighting of the 40-foot Christmas tree at 7:55 PM. The evening is filled with live music, street performers, visits with Santa & Mrs. Claus, and a festive scavenger hunt for the kids.  The annual carriage rides are an annual tradition with every ride benefiting the Viera High School Band & Orchestra.

Light Up Viera Christmas Parade
A Viera holiday season simply wouldn’t be complete without the Light Up Viera Christmas Parade, a beloved annual highlight that draws thousands of residents and families from across the Space Coast. Produced by the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office.

When: Saturday, November 29, 2025 – 6:00 PM
Where: Parade route begins at Viera High School and travels down Stadium Parkway toward Manatee Elementary.
What Makes It Special:

• A fireworks display kicks off the celebration right at 6 PM. Look towards the USSSA Stadium and you will see it.
• Lighted decorated floats, local marching bands, community organizations, and the holiday characters all join in.
• Brevard County Sherriff’s Office will showcase vehicles from various departments, the mounted posse on horseback, and Brevard County Fire and Rescue will drive their ladder truck down the parade route. Look out for the Grinch!

Run Run Santa 1 Mile
Lace up your sneakers — on Saturday, December 20, 2025 (7:30 AM start) in Viera, the “Run Run Santa 1 Mile” event welcomes runners (and walkers) all dressed as Santa! RunSignup It’s fun, active, and community-oriented with prizes and food at the finish line.
