This year Light Up Viera, our 11^th annual Holiday Parade took place on December 2^nd and was attended by over 10,000 Viera residents and visitors. Residents of Viera look forward to the Light Up Viera parade to usher in the community’s celebration of the holidays. Many of the attendees have been coming to the parade since its inception and use time-tested strategies to get the best seats along the parade route.

Light Up Viera kicks off at 6 pm with spectacular fireworks that sets the stage for the evening. There are floats, marching bands, and dance and cheer squads from various organizations that traverse the parade route bringing holiday music and cheer to the crowd to officially kick off the holiday season in the community!

In addition to Light Up Viera, there are a myriad of holiday events, plays, films, musicals, and sporting events to enjoy throughout the community. The Avenue Viera, our upscale lifestyle shopping center, also hosts a variety of holiday celebrations including caroling, a tree-lighting ceremony, carriage rides, and visits from Santa!
